How it Works

aroom operates just like other major OTAs, but with a key difference—aroom only charges operators a 3% commission and showcases operator’s direct offers. In return, operators support aroom’s marketing efforts and manage customer service and relationships directly. This keeps costs low for operators and offers travellers the best direct benefits. Search & Book

Just like other online booking platforms, users can search and compare properties all in one place. They can apply filters to suit their preferences or select multiple properties for side-by-side comparisons. Most importantly, users will see property’s key direct booking benefits prominently displayed.

Payment

When a traveller makes a booking, their credit card information is securely passed to you, the operator, in the form of a token, along with the booking details. aroom does not handle payments; instead, you manage the payment process directly. This ensures that all sensitive data remains secure while giving you full control over the transaction.

Guest Arrival & Service

When the guest arrives, you, the operator, provide the services as you would for any direct booking guest. aroom’s guests should be treated with the same level of care, with the aim to meet their expectations to the best of your ability. This approach ensures a positive guest experience and strengthens direct relationships, fostering loyalty and encouraging future direct bookings.

Billing

aroom will send a monthly transaction fee invoice, allowing the operator two weeks to verify booking charges. Any disputes can be managed directly on the partner extranet. After the due date, aroom will process payment directly from the pre-authorised credit card token or direct debit bank account provided by the operator.
